You'll land in N'djamena where your guide and driver pick you up for the transfer. After checking in at Radisson Blu, settle in for dinner and your first night in the capital.
Start with breakfast at the hotel, then head to the immigration office to register your passport with your guide. The rest of the day takes you through N'djamena's main sights like Gaoui village, the sultan's house, National Museum, Great Mosque, and the market. Grab lunch at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel for dinner and another night.
After breakfast, you'll fly from N'djamena to Fada, which serves as the capital of Ennedi region. Once you arrive, a transfer takes you out to Camp Derde where you'll have dinner and spend the night in this remote area.
Over five days from Camp Derde, daily trips take you to key sites throughout Ennedi Natural and Cultural Reserve. You'll see Guelta d'Archei, a permanent waterhole in a dramatic gorge where hundreds of camels drink and Saharan crocodiles live. The Ennedi Mountains, a UNESCO site since 2016, feature cliffs, natural arches, mushroom rocks, and large labyrinths. Rock art here dates back 7,000 years. All meals happen at Camp Derde.
