Your staff will meet you at Yaounde International Airport when you land. After you clear customs and handle your currency exchange, they'll drive you to your hotel where you'll spend the night.
You'll head out from Yaounde early in the morning, driving through Cameroon's equatorial rainforest toward Lomie. The route takes you through Ayos and Abang Bang, where the landscape shifts to thick forest vegetation and natural scenery. After the drive, you'll reach Lomie and check in at Raphia Hotel for the night. Dinner is included at the hotel, giving you time to rest after traveling.
After breakfast you'll depart for Lobeke via Yokadouma. Along the way you'll pass pygmy villages, and later you'll reach Mambele where Camp Kombo will be your base for the night after dinner.
An early breakfast gets you started, then a short 4 km drive and 6 km trek takes you into Lobeke National Park. You'll reach camp and head to the first watchtower in the small savannah area where you might see lowland gorillas, monkeys, forest elephants, and birds. Dinner and overnight happen in tents.
Following breakfast, your guide leads a wildlife search through the forest where gorillas, monkeys, chimpanzees, and other animals roam. You'll spend time at the watchtower watching, then head back to camp for dinner and another night in tents.
After eating breakfast you'll travel to the second watchtower at Djangui and set up camp there. Lunch comes next, then you have the afternoon for wildlife watching where gorillas, buffaloes, elephants, bongos, chimpanzees, and monkeys might appear. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Breakfast done, the 104 km drive to Djembe inside the park gets underway. Once you arrive you'll set up camp and have lunch, then before sunset your guide takes you on a wildlife tour where you could encounter gorillas, elephants, buffaloes, sitatunga, and bongos. Overnight in bungalows at Djembe.
The drive back toward Yokadouma gives you nice views of the surrounding landscape. You'll stop at Mambele to try local food, and later you'll reach Yokadouma for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast you'll head back to Yaounde. Once there you'll be taken to your hotel or airport depending on your flight schedule, and the tour ends.
